After successfully completing the programme, you will be entitled to use the official title Bachelor of Arts (BA). This programme can be found in the Dutch Registry of Institutions and Programmes (RIO) under code 39111.
With your degree, you can start working straight away as an independent designer, art director or creative strategist. You might join a design or communications agency, a publishing house, an advertising agency or a media company. Some of our alumni choose to work freelance, while others join larger creative teams.
You will work on exciting projects such as corporate designs, advertising campaigns, websites, films, animations and interactive productions. Your clients may come from a wide range of sectors, including culture, media, commerce and socially engaged organisations. You often work in collaboration with photographers, writers, filmmakers, illustrators and developers.

If you want to continue your studies and specialise in a particular field, you can apply for a national or international master’s programme after your Crossmedia Design bachelor’s degree. At ArtEZ or elsewhere. Options include master’s programmes such as Artistic Research (KABK, The Hague), Information Design (Design Academy Eindhoven), or Fine Art and Media Design at international academies.
At ArtEZ can also obtain a first-degree teaching qualification in Zwolle or Arnhem through the part-time accelerated programme in Fine Art and Design in Education.
