Interior Design - Associate Degree - Zwolle

Check the admission requirements

Would you like to apply to the Associate degree in Interior Design?

Then you will first need to take part in the admission procedure. Think of it as an introduction: it’s designed not only to see if you’re a good fit for the programme, but also to help you decide whether this is the right place for you. On this page, you can read what the admission procedure involves and what you will need to submit.

The process continues as follows:

Application → Admission → Positive outcome → Enrolment → Start of the programme

At the enrolment stage, you must meet all admission requirements:

  • You have (at least) an mbo level 4 diploma in a creative field or an equivalent foreign diploma, or you’re a lateral entrant with substantial work experience in the interior design profession.
  • You meet the language requirement: you must understand, speak, read and write Dutch at B2 level. If you hold a diploma from a Dutch-language secondary school and Dutch is your mother tongue, you meet the language requirement.
  • You have received a positive result from your admission exam (you have been admitted).
Did you attend school abroad, or is Dutch your second language? Then read how you can meet the Dutch language requirements.

Do you have a foreign diploma? Or are you unsure whether you meet the requirements? Contact the Student Affairs office.
