Final Exam | David Hayne | The Sound of Innovation

‘The Art of a Softening Heart’ is the testament of Masters graduate David Hayne, a mythified story on homecoming after trauma. It’s performed live on the 15th of June at the CO Theaterzaal in Zwolle.
The English spoken Kleinkunst performance uses David Hayne’s own music, soundscapes, stories and rituals to take the audience on an odyssey of loss, acceptance and healing. Together with his team, he invites the audience to reflect on the state of their heart. This performance, made possible by ArtEZ Academy of Music, is part of a longer project with the same name: it’s David’s ambition to release an artistic album and to keep refining and performing both the Kleinkunst performance and its music.
