The concert is about “A Moment in Time". The title represents grieving about what could have been. Think, for example, of someone who would have liked to be a pilot, but is color-blind. Or someone who started swimming at 40 and actually would have really enjoyed being able to compete in the Olympics, had he known this earlier. These processes combined with the feeling that a specific piece of music can give you, is the basis of “A Moment in Time".
Jonne Kleinjan's “A Moment in Time” is about the relationship between her and her mother. Because of (among other things) the cancer disease, there was a disrupted parent-child relationship. In the film, Jonne accidentally travels to the past and decides to look for her mother during her college years in 1995, after her mother died in the present. Jonne's mother, Marije, studied recorder. The trip to the past allowed Jonne to meet her mother in a completely different way, while once again sharing what is both important; music.
