You work on your own projects, get a feel for the atmosphere at the academy and explore where your talents lie, all without going through an admission process. You can join this course from the age of 14.
From animation to interior, from illustration to education: you take classes across all study directions. This gives you a full picture of what the academy has to offer – and which direction suits you best.
Our lecturers are active artists and designers. They share their experience and encourage you to experiment with materials, ideas and technology.
You don’t need to apply for admission, and no prior experience is required. If you’re eager to create, explore and learn, this is the place for you. The atmosphere is open and accessible, exactly what you may expect from a place where creativity comes first.
After completing the Art & Design Orientation Course
You are not automatically admitted to a bachelor’s programme after completing the course. Would you like to continue studying at ArtEZ? Then you will still need to go through the admission process. The Art & Design Orientation Course helps you enter that process well prepared.
