A space that is other

The pandemic has taught us the new face of space. The limitation of movement and social distancing made us isolated. It became more natural that indoor life time matters. People need to find a space that they can feel relax and comfortable.

"A space that is other " is an installation rug artwork inspired by the word “Heterotopia” elaborated by philosopher Micheal Foucault. He called the rug as Heterotopia, a place between the real world and fantasy world, a 'host of imagination'.

On the rug, the audience can take a rest and be free from external disturbances. “A space that is other " will be made a virtual boundary for your purification and imagination.
