Are you Happy?

There is no clear definition of happiness, and individuals have different standards. But Everyone wants to be happy. Humans have a long history of praying for wealth and good luck and wishing for bad luck to go away. These rituals continue to this day and contain the cultures of each country.

The act of praying for happiness does not simply end, it has the power to give people hope and move forward. Usually, people pray for individual happiness and family peace. But By Happiness, For Happiness started with the hope that everyone else, including myself, would be happy. It is an interactive space that gives a sense of happiness through colorful visual pleasures and the action of experiencing the ritual. Inspired by Gosa, one of the folk religious events in Korea, the abstract feeling of happiness is visualized and presented based on my own perspective.

Jinsun(Jenna) Bae is a graphic designer based on NL&KR who is interested in visual communication, comes from South Korea. She considered graphic design as a means of communication and self-expression. She tends to work on a variety of projects, ranging from emotional works to very colorful and playful works. Mainly She love to describe invisible things(emotions of messages) using visual elements and images through attractive design.
