The art of sharing

I am a performer and artist who searches for interaction and reflection. Both when performing and creating I strive for the moment when there is a 'click' and then becomes part of the process that is artmaking. I am curious, generous, versatile, and flirty. I find sharing to be the key to a great performance. As a performer, I situate myself at the collaboration between movement, text and sound.

People and circumstances of everyday life inspire me. The realities we are faced with inform us about who we are, were and hope to be. This search for sense and purpose which makes us human, is the source of my inspiration.

This year I got to experience different roles within artistic creation. I got to create and perform my own work. Dive into the repertoire of different makers. Contribute and share creative processes from their early 'idea' state until their final result. I also learned a valuable lesson about finding comfort and accomplishment within change. Being adaptable and flexible was crucial. Things happen when we least expect them to.

I hope to continue to move and find different ways to present and discover my body. I hope to keep on learning and educating myself about the changes and structures around me. I want to collaborate and work with different makers who see art differently, as well as to create my own work. Ultimately, I wish to find in art a motor for discovering and traveling through different contexts and places.
