Lullaby

Are you asleep yet?

Sleep is a crucial part of our well-being, not only a period of rest in between our busy days. It plays a vital role in healing our bodies, processing new information in our minds, and fostering creativity.

Sleeping well is not something that only happens in the evening, or by taking sleeping medication at night. With Hanne’s project Lullaby, she offers ways to improve your sleep, not only at night but especially during the day.

Lullaby is divided into 4 different objects that use tactility, colour and movement.

One breathes with you, moving like an artificial lung, making you slow your breathing unconsciously. One guides you when lying awake at night, through textured paths on fabric that can be followed using your fingers. One reminds you to let thoughts pass by, by depicting moving clouds in woven tapestries. One helps you to do breathing exercises, through moving wood turned beads.

Lullaby uses different approaches in which slowing down, repetition and craft play important roles to improve sleep.
