Why do we use plastic packaging for keeping our food fresh? As someone who has worked in a supermarket for four years, Floor witnessed this excessive and wasteful use of plastic packaging, particularly in the individual packaging of vegetables. But is the use of plastic necessary? Floor started designing a packaging material that is food-save and still has the same benefits as plastic packaging.

Introducing: FanTasty Dip! A 100% natural packaging material that is biodegradable. By packaging your vegetables in FanTasty Dipyour vegetables will still have a long shelf life, due to the oxygen regulation the FanTasty Dip provides. Next to that, your vegetables are protected against bacteria, and also very important: you won’t eat microplastics! You can Wash or peel the packaging material off. Rinsing FanTasty Dip Under water will let it dissolve, or you can peel FanTasty Dip off, and throw it away in the green bin, since it is biodegradable.
