Nadina Podinska’s jazz quartet Soniri has received a 2500 euro startup voucher!
- Music
We’re proud to congratulate Nadina Podinska on receiving the startup voucher! This award marks an important milestone in the development of her promising music project Soniri - an innovative jazz quartet blending jazz, poetry, and influences from folk and pop music. The Latvian singer is graduating this year from the Jazz & Pop program at ArtEZ Academy of Pop Music in Arnhem. She will use the funding to invest in a social media coach and an artist coach.

With Soniri, Nadina aims to make jazz more accessible to a wider audience, including those who don’t typically listen to jazz. After receiving enthusiastic feedback from earlier live performances, the quartet is ready for the next step. In January 2026, their debut album Songs About You will be released, followed by a tour of venues and festivals across the Netherlands and Germany.
Receiving the startup voucher allows Nadina to invest in Soniri’s growth. She plans to use the funding to work with a social media coach and an artist coach, helping her build a strong and consistent online and artistic identity, which is essential for visibility and recognition as an artist today.
Soniri is more than a jazz quartet, it’s also an artistic and social initiative. The musicians met while studying at ArtEZ and are committed not only to music, but also to sustainability, education and cultural inclusivity. In the future, Nadina hopes to organize workshops and masterclasses, collaborate with other artists, and inspire young people to express themselves through music and poetry.
We wish Nadina, Lukas, Carl, and Leander all the best on this exciting journey!
