ArtEZ retains as many as 27 Top Rated courses

In 2025, 27 courses at ArtEZ will carry the title of Top Rated Programme. In Arnhem, these are: School of Acting, Artisteducator in Theatre, Dance Artist, Artisteducator in Dance, BEAR Fine Art, Creative Writing, Design Art Technology, Fine Art and Design in Education, Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Product Design, Composition for Film and Theatre, Jazz & Pop and Music Theatre. 

In Zwolle, these are: Artisteducator in Theatre & Media, Animation Design, Comic Design, Illustration Design, Interior Architecture, Graphic Design, Music in Education, Jazz & Pop and Classical Music. 

And in Enschede, these are: Music in Education, MediaMusic, Music Therapy and Academy of Pop Music. 

Proud of this achievement

Academies with only Top Rated Programmes 

All bachelor’s courses at the ArtEZ Academy of Music, the ArtEZ Academy of Theatre & Dance, and the ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design Arnhem have once again been designated as Top Rated Programmes. This means that all bachelor’s courses in Arnhem are Top Rated Programmes. ArtEZ is proud that the high quality of its education in Arnhem, Enschede, and Zwolle is confirmed year after year. 

Number one 

No fewer than eleven courses are ranked number one in their category. At the ArtEZ Academy of Theatre & Dance, this includes the School of Acting. At the ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design in Arnhem, these are BEAR Fine Art and Fine Art and Design in Education Arnhem. At the ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design in Zwolle, these are Animation Design, Comic Design, Graphic Design, Illustration Design, and Interior Architecture. At the ArtEZ Academy of Music in Enschede, the bachelor’s courses MediaMusic, Academy of Pop Music, and Music Therapy are number one in their category. 

Top scorers at ArtEZ 

Four courses have achieved an impressive score above 90. The bachelor’s course Music Therapy shines with 97 out of 100 points. Music in Education Enschede follows with an excellent score of 93 points. Finally, the theatre courses in Arnhem perform exceptionally well: Artisteducator in Theatre scores 93 points and the School of Acting an impressive 96 points. 

Keuzegids

The Keuzegids hbo, published by the Centre for Higher Education Information (C.H.O.I.), annually assesses courses based on reliable sources such as the National Student Survey, labour market data from the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA), and study success rates from the Association of Universities of Applied Sciences.
