Sigrid van Willigen appointed as director master's courses ad interim
Sigrid van Willigen has been appointed by the Executive Board as (temporary) successor of Iris Eshel, as director Masters a.i. We are very pleased with the temporary appointment of Sigrid who, together with the Executive Board and the master programs, will further shape the initiated transition of the masters. What this transition exactly will look like, will be further developed with her.
With her extensive experience within art education, we believe we have found in Sigrid a very experienced and decisive director. Within the HKU she has held various managerial positions, including head of master's and bachelor's programs and she was director of School of Fine art. Completely in line with the challenges that lie ahead, she also has a lot of experience with everything that is involved in accreditations. The masters that fall within the croho Fine Art will be accredited in 2025. Sigrid has previously been able to use her expertise on both sides of the accreditations.

Currently, she is already working closely with Iris Eshel, ensuring a smooth and thorough transfer. As of mid-February, she will take over from her completely.
