Tim's musical journey

In the article, Tim discusses his musical journey that commenced at the age of eight when he discovered the power to create his own sounds by touching his sister's keyboard. Since then, music has permeated every aspect of his life. Tim explored different musical genres and honed his skills as a guitarist and songwriter. With his band, Jamboree, he won competitions and opened for renowned acts. Tim's love for music production grew, leading him to produce his first album at the age of 16 and delve into the world of film composition. Later, he discovered the Composition for Film and Theatre course at the ArtEZ Academy of Music in Arnhem:

"When it came to studying, I had a hard time finding my path. I wanted to do something with producing music, but also making my own music and not producing other people‘s music. After some visits and talks with professors, I chose to study Composition for Film. I never thought it was an option for me as I had little to no idea about orchestral music and no interest in classical music either. I felt like an Outlaw coming from Rock, Jazz and Electronic music but guess what? Times changed and there is a lot of non-orchestral film music today! I went with it, and I got accepted to the ArtEZ Conservatory, the beginning of the next chapter of my journey!"
