The ArtEZ Academy of Pop Music provides an Beats & Rhymes choice profile. The course is now looking for top talents in Beats & Rhymes who are not studying at ArtEZ. Participation is free! Within ArtEZ Beats & Rhymes there is a strong emphasis on creating, producing, recording, publishing, networking and building your own profile as an artist or producer. This pilot takes you for free throughout the country and brings you into contact with other artists, conservatory students, producers and new networks through various writing camps.
During the course the focus is on your own desired development as an artist and/or producer. You will work on a personal development question and you can build your own team of professionals around this (from marketing to publishing; from songwriting to branding). You will be assisted by a permanent team of coaches with years of experience in artist guidance such as Yoda Francesco (including Ronnie Flex, Diplo, Tabitha), Henk Pool (1DCs, Songwriting teacher) and Manu van Kersbergen (including FunX, matchmakers network), but also there will be regular masterclasses and listening sessions by established artists and relevant professionals from the scene, supplemented by coaches from the field.
By bringing in as many 'real-life' situations as possible, in which you write and pitch for projects and artists from 'the real world', we expect you to be able to build a nice network in addition to strong development. In the meantime, we keep a close eye on your personal development. During regular feedback moments, we look at what you have made and what training or coaching could help you further. A choice profile with real room for individual development and with your own artistic signature as a starting point.
