Starting work

Endless possibilities

During the course, you will receive an extensive introduction to the many possibilities that exist in the discipline and you will choose your own direction. Accordingly, what our former students go on to do after the course varies strongly:

  • Students who are good at programming sometimes choose to start work with leading international studios in the field of creative coding; there is a huge demand for creative coders in the professional field. Not infrequently, our students will be offered a job at the place where they have did an internship.
  • Others have gone on to work for design agencies, for instance in the field of information design, time-based installations and new technology;
  • Some have started their own design agencies or chosen to work as autonomous artists;
  • Yet others have started a collective that organises musical and cross-cultural events.

After graduation, I got a great opportunity to go and work for a big studio, CLEVER°FRANKE. Along with a colleague, I made  AIML, a big art installation with a robotic arm that could draw. I now I work for lots of artists and designers on a freelance basis as their technical support and co-creator.
