The code of conduct in 10 rules
We treat each other with respect and contribute to an environment where everyone feels safe, valued and welcome.
We are open to different cultures, backgrounds, identities, beliefs and perspectives. Our differences make our community stronger.
We respect other people’s personal boundaries and space. We always ask and check what the other person feels comfortable with and what is acceptable to them.
Our behaviour affects others. We take responsibility for how we behave and how we interact with the people around us.
We talk openly about behaviour, frustrations and discomfort. Where possible, we address issues where they arise.
We speak up when something does not feel right and are open to feedback from others.
We cannot always get everything right. We acknowledge our mistakes and vulnerabilities and use them as opportunities to learn and grow.
Discrimination, racism, harassment of any kind, bullying, stalking, threats and violence are not acceptable at ArtEZ.
We respect other people’s privacy, work and property. We act honestly and with integrity and take responsibility for our behaviour.
Everyone contributes to a safe and inclusive learning environment. Has something happened, are you concerned or unsure what to do? Talk about it. You are not alone.
