Financial guarantee for non-EU students

If you require a residence permit, then the financial guarantee consists of the following:

- the income requirement set up by the Dutch Immigration Services (IND). This provides proof that you are capable of supporting yourself financially in the Netherlands. We will refund this amount as soon as you have set up a Dutch bank account.

- the visa fees: this requirement is set up by the Dutch Immigration Services (IND).

- the insurance fees

- the tuition fees

The financial guarantee for Bachelor's or AD students consists of the following:

- Income requirement 2025*: €13,129.44

- Visa fees 2026: €254.00

- Insurance fees (optional): €750.00

- Tuition fees non-EU students (2026-2027): €11,460.00

Total amount financial guarantee: €26,003

Please make sure that the financial guarantee is in ArtEZ’s bank account no later than 31 May 2026.

* The income requirement for the academic year 2026-2027 will be published in January 2026.

Are you an exchange student participating via the Erasmus programme? Do you need a residence permit? If this is the case, then the financial guarantee consists of the following:

- the monthly income requirement: €1,094.12 (2025) for each month of your stay

- the visa fees for the duration of your stay as an exchange student at ArtEZ: €254.00 (2026)

- the insurance fees (optional): €62,50 for each month of your stay
