If someone’s behaviour makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, you can talk to one of ArtEZ’s external confidential counsellors.
They will listen to you and discuss possible next steps. They can also support you in those steps – for example, by joining a conversation with the other person or helping to arrange a mediator. You can also contact them if you have made a formal complaint.
ArtEZ has two external confidential counsellors: Erika Hendriks and Jacco Teunis. They are not ArtEZ employees and are therefore completely independent. Both ArtEZ students and alumni are welcome to get in touch.

Both counsellors are members of the National Association of Confidential Counsellors and comply with the code of conduct.

Both staff and students of ArtEZ can contact her with questions or complaints regarding scientific integrity. If you have any doubts about the fairness or diligence of research here at ArtEZ, the confidential counsellor can advise, mediate or help determine next steps.
