Nostalgia, melancholy, daydreaming and the touch of sound. These themes float around while I revisit my childhood memories. I grew up in the countryside with a warm family and a rich variety of music, art, nature and a childlike curiosity. Ever since I can remember I have been consciously and subconsciously deep listening and singing. Many times I found myself daydreaming, singing, wandering and wondering as a way to sense the world around me. The memories still echo in my body while I am often confronted with the pain of letting go, growing and changing. I want to celebrate the beauty as well as the friction that occurs when reminiscing. By allowing childlike curiosity, exploration, play and experiment, I try to translate these sensations of sound and memory into new forms. I let the memories guide me in audio work, paintings, drawings, mixed media installations and performances.
