SEQUENCE

A good day to find the continues line

Take a step forward, look again and follow the lines to discover the logic behind them. At first glance, structures and patterns may seem complex, but take a closer look and you’ll discover their simplicity, which holds its true beauty.

For me, a good day is one that sparks curiosity, often through something I see in my surroundings. It's about wandering around, taking the time to look twice when something catches my attention. I'm often drawn to complex structures that challenge me to discover the logic within them. I apply this curiosity to my design process by experimenting with patterns and structures. A good day ends with the satisfaction of finding a solution that clicks perfectly.

Sequence celebrates the logic of structures, focusing on repetition of simple lines creating symmetry and tension. Through a process of experimenting with shapes this developed into a method of creating structures where all the components become reliant on each other. This formed the approach for Sequence, it is a search for shapes and methods that can easily connect and form a surface or object. As a result, the construction and aesthetic value blend together. The search for forms that can interact in this way has resulted in a selection from which various objects have emerged. It resulted in a collection of wall structures and light objects .Sequence’s continuous lines and simple connections maintain the structure and provide the objects' aesthetic value, reducing each object to its essence.
