Growing up, I heard stories about the domovoi — a house spirit from Slavic folklore said to watch over the home. The belief was never quite serious. It lived somewhere between habit and just in case.
Compromise is a short film that follows a young woman who has just moved into a shared house. She performs small private rituals — counting rice, leaving offerings in quiet corners — hoping the space will accept her.
