BOOMSTOF

My artistic work centres on the relationship between humans and nature. My sculptures arise from a desire to rediscover, restore, and make tangible that connection. I experience nature as something vast and all-encompassing, imbued with a power and mystery that continually amazes me. I strive to translate the grandeur of nature into essential forms—forms to which you, as a viewer, can relate, allowing an encounter to take place.

For the work BOOMSTOF, I collaborated with trees. What began as individual fragments grew into a sculpture—a world unto itself. A world that embraces you as a viewer and in which the multiplicity of nature speaks its own language. The work is not merely a space to observe, but it invites you to immerse yourself in it, to become part of it.

I believe that, in the slowing down and silence the work evokes, we can learn to listen again. To ourselves, to each other, and to the greater whole of which we are a part.

In her stillness, we find our peace.

In her movement, we find our direction.

In her life, we find ourselves.
