One-man band. That is how I would describe myself as an artist and how I work. I am a multidisciplinary artist working with photography and textiles, combining my passion for creating visuals with fashion. I develop the concept, do research, make the clothes and props myself, and then photograph. It is hard to define who I am as an artist exactly. Art director? Photographer? Fashion designer? I would say all of them in one. I prefer not to put a label on myself. I create and experiment, constantly pushing myself to do more and try new things.
There are no boundaries in my artistic practice. If I don’t try first, I can’t tell if a certain approach or medium is right for me. I draw inspiration from everyday life, including things that make me happy, sad, or angry. Often, my work is rooted in personal experiences, which I translate in my own way. I am interested in activism and spreading mental health awareness. Art is a powerful tool, and I am still learning how to work with it and make the best use of its potential. There are no limits in art, only possibilities I continue to explore.
