Lucia Guerrero Garcîa - Classical Piano

My name is Lucia and I am a classical pianist. Originally from Spain, I moved to the Netherlands to further my growth as a pianist. This year, my research has centred around this sonata, using it as a basis to delve into the complex task of musical interpretation and to explore what we, as performers, can continue to contribute when approaching works from centuries past. This exploration not only enriches the interpretation but also seeks innovative ways to engage and sustain the audience's interest in classical music.

For my final concert, I performed works by Mozart, Brahms, and César Franck, with a special focus on Igor Stravinsky's Piano Sonata, a unique piece that is rarely featured in concert repertoires, despite being one of Stravinsky’s most significant works for piano.
