Lisa Minnema

Lisa Minnema (she/her, 2003) is not just a nice girl, but she's also a writer. She looks things over with a feminine eye, tries to understand, and incorporates her findings into theatre, poetry, reports, and essays. Lisa is an editor for the collective De Laarpoerlaar and, together with Mette Hoekstra, forms the cabaret duo De Flauw.

She recently put on a tryout of a scene from her graduation performance, Elle, during Scratch Nights at the Shakespeare is Dead Festival, in collaboration with Theater Bellevue and deBuren.

Elle

Elle is about a protagonist named Elle who is afraid of the future, so she decides to delve into the pasts of the women she admires. She wants to be a good feminist, but her personality seems to get in the way. How can you be a young woman in a world on the verge of collapse?

Elle is a poetic coming-of-age theatrical work about the woman we try not to be, but who may very well be inside us all.
