Empathetic, Versatile, Committed The passion and love for dance have always been the driving force and guiding principle in Lena’s development as a dance professional. For Lena, it is essential to shape her life through intrinsic motivation; by making conscious decisions, she gives her inner feelings and dreams a place in reality. From this vision, she has grown from a passionate dancer into a professional Artist Educator in dance. She unites the disciplines of dancing, teaching, and creating, utilizing the power of dance as an artistic tool to provide social value. Over the past few years, Lena has gained extensive experience as a teacher, dancer, and maker. She has developed into a professional who, through commitment and openness, always ensures a safe learning environment. Looking at yourself, each other, and dance with 'kind eyes'—that is what Lena aims to pass on. This creates a space where everyone, as an individual and as a group, can explore, experiment, and grow without pressure or stress. Lena combines her vision with a solid technical foundation, specializing in ballet, modern jazz, and contemporary. Additionally, she has a strong affinity for pre-school dance, hip-hop, and improvisation, and is particularly inspired by the versatility within dancing and teaching. In recent years, she has gained extensive experience teaching amateur dancers of all ages and working within the broader educational system. Within this broad orientation, Lena constantly seeks to connect different dance styles with one another, as well as various age groups and contexts, in order to continually develop her personal language as an Artist Educator. Lena also shares her vision internationally, having built a valuable network over the last few years, particularly in Germany. After graduation, she plans to work both in the Netherlands and abroad, applying her versatility as a teacher, performer, and maker. Her current focus lies on general education and the amateur arts sector. As a dancer, she continues to develop herself in various styles—a broad foundation that she utilizes as a strength both on stage and in the studio.
