Unfold. Anytime. Anywhere.

It seems like a logical concept. After high school, you choose a programme to study, then find a job, and settle down for life. Despite always dreaming of living abroad one day, or turning your hobby into a career, we often choose the standardised way of life. House, tree, pet. There's nothing wrong with that, but still, when I ask people, "What would your life look like if you could choose again?", I notice that everyone has a dream that seems unattainable to them. But that dream doesn't have to be as unattainable as we might think.

My past with frequent moves, emigrating to South America, and living on a sailboat, as well as my research into nomadic living, has shown me that there are alternatives that don't have to cost a fortune. We only need to connect more with our dreams and the people who pursue them to see that they are achievable.

That's why I designed "Unfold." A mobile, self-sufficient shelter that gives people back some autonomy. With my design, I want to make it more accessible to escape the hustle and bustle of society. I want to introduce people to an alternative, nomadic way of life and show them that more is possible within the constraints of society. So dare to dream!
