Kuda da Idem explores the story of my family and their experience during the Yugoslav War. It focuses on how the war forced them to leave their homes and the lasting impact this had on their lives. Rather than concentrating only on the historical events, the documentary highlights the personal emotions and memories of my family members as they lived through a time of uncertainty, fear, and sudden change. Through their stories, I examine the idea of home, not only as a physical place, but also as a feeling of safety, belonging, and identity. Even years after losing their homes, many of my family members continue searching for that same sense of home they once had.
