Marked: This project celebrates the art of body modification through personal stories and photography. By interviewing individuals who have undergone various modifications, I want to share their motivations and experiences. By sharing these stories, I aim to create more understanding and empathy and challenge societal judgments. It creates a safe, respectful space where individuals share their journeys openly and confidently. I invite viewers to sit down for a moment and read someone else’s story. Ultimately, it helps to create a more inclusive society that values different ways of expressing identity and encourages people to think twice before making assumptions based on appearance.
