“As a child I liked to figure out how things function and work. I loved to play around and get my hands dirty, by constructing, deconstructing, reassembling and arranging. With my project I want to invite the viewer to puzzle with type construction through modular pieces. The system holds on to certain principles of restrictions, while at the same time creating room to playfully explore and experiment. An open-ended playful system that allows for the construction of type, symbols, punctuations, glyphs and patterns through building blocks.”
