Education in Art • Artisteducator in Dance - Bachelor - Arnhem • 2026

Jet Boender is an enthusiastic, hardworking, and passionate dancer and dance teacher. In recent years, she has specialized in dance for toddlers, preschoolers, and children, developing various teaching methods tailored to this age group.

Jet fully immerses herself in the world of children and seeks ways in which dance is not only an art form but also a means to connect, discover, learn, and grow.

With her deep passion for children’s dance classes, she creates lessons where imagination, play, and movement come together. She uses props, picture books, and relatable themes that resonate with children’s experiences.

Her graduation research focused on parental involvement in dance classes. Based on this research, Jet developed interactive tools that encourage parental participation and actively involve parents in their children’s dance process. In addition, she mentors student teachers in integrating dance into their own teaching practice, demonstrating how movement can contribute to creativity, self-confidence, and collaboration in the classroom.

In addition to her work in dance education, Jet is a versatile and trained dancer. Through her curiosity and eagerness to learn, she has developed skills in various styles, including Modern, Hip-hop, Jazz, Tap, and Contemporary dance.

Drawing on her Christian faith, she has been active with Mind Connected since 2018 as a dancer with MC Next. Through various projects, she performs in churches, at festivals, and other venues.

In addition to performing in these projects, she focuses on technique and free worship, in which improvisation plays a key role.

Jet is also an instructor at Mind Connected Dance Centre, where she teaches Modern, Preschool Dance, and Ballet. Connection, creativity, and experience are central to both her classes and performances. With her open attitude and enthusiasm, she consistently inspires children, students, and audiences alike.
