"Have the courage to exist."
Above all, I'm a collector. By following my curiosity, I discover stories hidden in the people and places around us. Every now and then, I pick something from my collection and create a collage, combining disciplines like song and movement. Making connections is what I love most; in sharing my discoveries, I always seek interaction. In this way, I create a collective moment of encounter and sharing, in which the audience not only experiences but also participates.
One of the things that inspires me most is the magic of being human and the everyday connection hidden within it: eye contact with a stranger when the train suddenly stops, the discoloured nose of a dog statue, an audience that continues singing when the artist stops, elephant trails, etc.
I hope to use theatre as a tool to continue forging new connections and facilitating encounters, allowing us to rediscover ourselves, each other, and the world.
In my research, I explore how my two great theatre passions, musical theatre and social-artistic theatre, can reinforce each other. Although these two forms seem far apart, I immediately see a similarity: they both have the power to make someone's innermost being transferable. By engaging with creators who are already working with this combination, I discover the areas where these forms intersect and can support each other, but also create friction.
