Who are you as a performer/artist?

I’m an artist in love with movement and visuals. I love creating portraits on stage, whether I’m the dancer or the one making them.

What are your ambitions?

I’d love to be able to repay all the people who supported me throughout this process through my art.

Where do you find inspiration?

It depends on what I’m doing. When I’m dancing, it feels as though certain parts of my body become itchy, and I need to scratch them through movement. When I’m making work, I never really know why I make a particular artistic choice at the beginning. I usually start from a theoretical question that’s bothering me, even if I don’t yet understand why. It often takes me days to find the right way to put the pieces together, and the process is very unconscious. Only after the show, when I look back at the work, do I begin to understand why I needed to make it that way.

What did you do at your intership & what did you learn?

I first joined an inclusive dance project with Introdans, and from there I kept researching. I wanted to continue exploring the work I had started during my third year, which is why inclusion became the central theme of my year. As part of this journey, I created an installation to reflect on the experience I was living at the time. Separately, I began working with a girl with autism, researching movement qualities and intentions together. That collaboration has deeply influenced my artistic practice, and she has become and will continue to be a co-creator in my next piece. What surprised me was that the more I tried to make the dance field more inclusive, the more I started making better life choices for myself without ever intending it to be. Accepting that I was changing was the most difficult part.
