Finnegan “Finn” Conlin (born 2001) is a 23-year-old comic artist and illustrator with a Dutch-American background. His work focuses on personal themes rooted in psychological depth and human complexity. The boundary between reality and the supernatural blurs. The intimate balances with the existential.
His current project is set on the desolate continent of Antarctica and is a sometimes quiet, sometimes explosive exploration of isolation. The story follows a researcher studying the lives of penguins within their colony. He is confronted with obstacles that force him to face his self-imposed identity. The story weaves together memories, illusions and inner tensions, forming a personal reflection on what it means to be an outsider and what it takes to return.
