As a graphic designer, I tell compelling stories through design. I do this by using craftsmanship and purposefully created designs, infused with philosophical insights. I see visual communication as a powerful tool for initiating dialogue and promoting social change.

My graduation project is about social awareness. Based on my own experience as a highly sensitive person, I am constantly thinking about how I relate to others, something I find lacking in many people. In my thesis, I researched empathy and came to the conclusion that we often limit our empathy to our own circle. If we really want to become more socially and emotionally aware, we need to actively step outside that bubble and dare to question ourselves.

Based on that insight, I created a magazine that doesn't provide answers, but asks questions. I bring together different and sometimes conflicting perspectives, challenging the reader to think and feel. It is deliberately not an informative magazine, but one in which images, atmosphere and content leave room for personal interpretation.

This exhibition brings the magazine to life. Not everyone resonates with a printed edition, so I'm making it tangible, something people can experience. In this way, I hope to engage more people in the conversation about how we relate to each other and grow together in social awareness.
