Who are you as a performer/artist?

Right now I would describe myself as an artist who works through the body. I am fascinated by the ways we listen, sense, touch and connect with one another. As a performer I value presence, sensitivity, and openess. I am interested in creating experiences that feel honest and embodied, where movement becomes a bridge, a way of communicating.

What are your ambitions?

In a world driven by speed and productivity, I am interested in creating spaces that invite people to slow down, listen, and engage with their body in a more attentive way. In a culture that often prioratises individualism, my ambition is to nurture (re)connection: with oneself, with others, with the surroundings

Where do you find inspiration?

I am fascinated by the subtle things that often go unnoticed. I am drawn to artists and thinkers who invite a deeper awareness of perception and presence. I am inspired by somatic practices, human behaviours, and the intelligence of the body.

What did you do at your intership & what did you learn?

During my internship year I allowed myself to explore different directions, instead of following one fixed path: I collaborated with the company Another Kind of Blue, and with the Short Dance Collective (Dance in Art), I rehearsed, performed, taught workshops, developed my artistic research on touch and bodily awareness, and discovered new interests such as video editing and community building. I learned to trust uncertainty a little more. I learned to take initiative, share my ideas more confidently, and stay connected to my body while navigating a busy and sometimes fragmented artistic life. And I learned that many of the things I value most - listening, presence, connection, and curiosity - are not only at the core of my artistic research, but also of the artist I want to become.
