Anouk is a versatile, expressive, and passionate dancer, creator, and teacher. She graduated from the Artist Educator in Dance program at ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem. She is characterised by a genuine curiosity about people, movement, and stories. She enjoys encountering different people and contexts and feels at home in collaborations that allow for exchange and experimentation.
During her studies, Anouk developed a solid pedagogical and artistic foundation. She confidently leads groups and enjoys sharing her vision of dance and creativity. She knows how to invite others to explore their physical boundaries and open themselves to new forms of expression. For her, dance is more than movement: it is a powerful tool for communicating, connecting, and visualising what is sometimes difficult to capture in words.
As a creator, Anouk enjoys creating worlds where dance, light, sound, and space converge. She works intuitively and creates space for the unexpected, where the process is just as important as the end result. Being on stage herself remains an indispensable source of inspiration for her, a direct way to express herself and connect with audiences and fellow artists.
In her classes, Anouk is known for her open and safe atmosphere, where play, exploration, and development take centre stage. She works intuitively with a group and dares to trust the moment and the energy in the space. Her love for working with teenagers lies in their disarming honesty and sharp humour, whilst when working with (semi-)professionals, she enjoys exploring depth and artistic layers.
Whether in a dance studio, theatre, or community centre, Anouk wants to move people, touch them, and offer a space where freedom, play, and imagination are given free rein.
