Anne Willemsen

Enthusiastic, creative, sensitive

Anne (21) is an energetic, creative, and sensitive dancer, creator, and educator for whom dance is inextricably linked to life. Life is special and full of beauty, and dance is her way of expressing this. Not everything can or needs to be understood rationally, and that is what she finds so special about art: you can give shape and meaning to precisely that which you don't yet fully understand. She dances to experience the beauty of life, to give it shape, and to share it. This is also the focus of her graduation research. In her research, she connected a philosophical concept about life force with dance and embodied this in a dance performance.

With her enthusiasm and open mind, she hopes to transport others into her world of wonder. Imagination and expression are reflected in everything she does. She moves from intuition and curiosity. These elements are also central to the lessons she teaches. She creates a safe and playful learning environment where personal, emotional, and social development are paramount.

As a dancer, Anne enjoys challenges and deepening her skills. She feels most at home in contemporary dance. Her style is unique and free. She is always open to personal development. She's far from finished learning, and after completing her training, she will enter the world full of curiosity and enthusiasm.
