Nature in all her forms is the backbone of my work. I am especially interested in her organisms, how they work, where they come from and how they express themselves in nature, but also how my body relates to others. Observing the environment around me allows me to look at myself from a different perspective. I let people wander in my work and step into a dreamworld full of confusion, curiosity and incomprehensibility.
By using an aspect of mystery in my work, I build a layer of tension, a feeling that is not immediately noticeable and brings a light sense of unease. These feelings and themes I translate by using a broad variety of materials and a base of introspection. By melting senses I depict the whimsical aspect of my work, strengthened by craftsmanship. This way I aim to create a new way to look at reality and to provide people with a new view of organisms in nature.
