Jasmin explores whether design can change the way we eat

What if eating became a more conscious experience? For Product Design graduate Jasmin Öztürkkan Menda from ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design Arnhem, eating is about more than just taste. It is also about touch, movement and attention.

With Relish, a series of wearable eating tools, she invites people to experience food with all their senses and to slow down the way they eat.

During ArtEZ finals, student reporter Layla Souza Silva visited Jasmin to learn more about her graduation project, the ideas behind Relish, and how design can contribute to a more conscious eating experience.
