Graduation Show Fashion Design: Generation 68
From gender transition and growing up to family history, cultural memories and mythology. The fifteen graduates of Fashion Design at ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design Arnhem draw inspiration from a wide range of stories and personal fascinations. A family photograph, a perfume bottle or a memory of home can become the starting point for an exploration that ultimately takes shape in a collection. Each in their own distinctive way.

Researching, making, experimenting
Through material, silhouette, craftsmanship and experimentation, each designer develops a collection of their own. Personal experiences and social themes take shape through their work. Sometimes, it goes beyond clothing, with a garment evolving into an object, a character or even an entire world of its own. Once again, this resulted in a graduation show in which every collection told its own story, with the designer’s hand clearly visible throughout.
