From Lara’s first camera to Moving Image
At a young age, Lara Vrgoč, a student on the Moving Image programme at AKI ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design, discovered her love of creating images. She got her first Canon camera when she was nine, using it to photograph her friends and make videos in her bedroom. What started as a hobby gradually developed into a way of expressing her imagination.
She enjoys romanticising her own life and looking at the world as if she were capturing it through a camera. Through Moving Image, Lara wants to translate this way of seeing into images on screen. Her dream? To become a film director and bring her thoughts to life on screen.
About Moving Image
At Moving Image, you explore moving images not as a representation of the world, but as a reality in their own right. You learn to develop new perspectives, experiment with form and movement, and work on projects that go beyond existing conventions. In this way, you grow into an independent, conceptual image-maker with a vision of your own.
