This is a design-driven, practice-based research that connects fashion and product designers to industry partners to develop fabrics made from sustainable cellulose fibres, aimed to develop new insights into multi- stakeholder co-creation and circular design principles.

Going Circular Going Cellulose (GC2)
Going Circular Going Cellulose (GC2)

Going Circular Going Cellulose (GC2) is the follow-up research of the SIA RAAK SME project Going Eco Going Dutch in which ArtEZ Future Makers cooperates with Saxion and various project partners in the textile and clothing chain. Within GC2, designers, together with companies in the supply chain, investigate how textile applications can be created based on sustainable cellulose fibres (from recycled cotton and hemp, for example). The project develops and tests design principles for circular and sustainable textile designs that are developed in co-creation with stakeholders from the value chains.
