About Art & Design Orientation Course

Curious about studying art? Or are you enrolled in another programme and considering a switch? This orientation course offers an accessible way to get to know ArtEZ and explore where your creative strengths lie.

Programme

This orientation course runs for nine Saturdays and one Friday evening. During the first three weeks, you build a solid foundation: you train your eye, experiment with materials and explore how to visualise your ideas. After that, you dive into the different disciplines within the academy. You take workshops in Fashion Design, Product Design, Graphic Design and Design Art Technology. You will also go on an excursion to gather inspiration outside the academy.

We conclude with a small exhibition in which you present your work. This gives you a clear sense of the bachelor’s programmes at the ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design Arnhem.
