In this minor you will work on three competences:
You will work on the three competences within four modules:
1. Practices (15 ECTS) You will learn how to formulate design assignments based on your own research. You will also conduct empirical research, develop your craft and present your concepts in images, text, models and installations.
2. Theory (5 ECTS) You will explore the specialist literature and learn to formulate theoretical questions based on it. You will also practise analysing and combining insights from different sources.
3. Case (5 ECTS) You will work with fellow students and stakeholders on a social issue. You will also conduct sensitive and engaged research tailored to the needs of the users.
4. Reflect (5 ECTS) You will present your research in a visual form, such as a magazine or installation. You will also reflect on your learning process, your role as a creator and the methods you used.
You will be assessed on your presentations, written assignments, active participation and attendance. You will conclude the minor with a presentation of your personal results, an atlas of your research and your vision for the future.
