Practical information

You follow the minor full time. It is worth 30 EC and takes place in Zwolle, from 27 January to 3 June 2027.

The fixed contact days are in principle Wednesday and Thursday. On these days, you work with the core team, guest lecturers, filmmakers and film educators. The teaching is a mix of inspiration, deeper study, workshops, conversations, film screenings and practical exercises. You organise the rest of your study time largely independently around your own project: research, preparation, filming, editing and educational development.

Throughout the minor, you have a personal tutor from the teaching team. Technical support is also available for camera, sound and editing, among other things. ArtEZ has cameras, tripods, microphones and editing facilities; their use is scheduled in consultation.

Attendance of at least 80 percent is required on contact days.
