Music Therapy - Master - part-time - Enschede

Curriculum

This master’s programme combines online teaching with onsite sessions, making it easier to balance your studies with an already established professional practice. The curriculum includes:

  • Weekly online classes on Fridays;
  • An approximately 20-hour workload per week;
  • Intensive Weeks onsite at the ArtEZ Academy of Music in Enschede;
  • Supervised seminars and independent study modules;
  • 280 hours of supervised clinical practice through internships or within your own work as a music therapist.

Part-time structure

You will attend online classes every Friday and participate in three onsite Intensive Weeks each year. During the first year, you will attend one additional on-campus week to complete the NMT training and masterclasses. This part-time structure is designed for those who would like to combine work and family life with an academic programme while studying from home. You may complete your clinical hours (professional practice or 280 hours of supervised internship) in or near your place of residence. The part-time workload is approximately 20 hours per week.
