At the Master of Music in Arnhem, you will develop as an autonomous creator within the field of music or extending beyond it. You will deepen your artistic practice through experimentation, collaboration and research. Using your own interests as a starting point, you will learn to initiate, develop and present projects – alone or together with others.
You will have the space to focus on your own artistic development: from performance and composition to interdisciplinary work, storytelling, artistic research or concept development. We ask for vision: why do you create what you create? What form best suits your content? And what do you want to contribute as an artist?
You will experiment with new forms and collaborations that cross genres and disciplines. You will take a research-based approach: your questions and fascinations drive your process – research is a means, not a goal. You will develop, present and reflect – from studio to stage.
