Corpo-real will train you to become a spatial researcher with your own perspective. You will develop an artistic design practice in which bodies and space are central. From the start, you will work on your own research question and learn how to combine creative thinking and theoretical research.
In your first year, you will explore theory and research through creating, and learn about research methods and interdisciplinary work. You will work on a theoretical research question, which you will develop into a full research proposal in the second semester. Within the case study, you will explore the relationship between power, space and bodies together with others.
In your second year, all elements will come together in your graduation project and thesis. This will demonstrate your ability to work independently as a spatial thinker, creator and researcher – critically, experimentally and with an awareness of social context.
"During my previous studies, I discovered that I really enjoy design and form, but that this role in the professional field doesn’t quite fit me. I see myself more as a researcher."
